Joystick Handles

Handles (or grips) are the primary component of any joystick controller assembly. While most of our handle styles are designed for a particular range of joystick base models, some of our handle styles can also be supplied as separate products, and attached to pilot valve levers or for other HMI controls.
Our joystick handles that can be purchased as separate components are listed below.
AMF
This handle style is designed to meet the demands for more complex control systems in off-highway specialist vehicle applications. The 'AMF' range of ergonomic multifunction hand grips can be fitted with a combination of analog outputs, push button and ‘Person Present’ switches. The handle can be supplied with two independent analog outputs generated by proportional rockers which, in turn, provide auxiliary directional switching in addition to the potentiometric output.
This handle can also be supplied fitted to joystick controller models JC150, JC1500, JC6000 and JC8000
MG
This handle style is designed to provide a simple approach to a ‘Person Present’ handle. The ‘MG’ handle can be supplied with or without an operators hand rest and can be configured with a combination of momentary action button or rocker switch in the top of the handle, with a trigger switch at the front of the hand grip. The handle profile ensures the operator's fingers are permanently close to the buttons, minimising operator fatigue and maximising functional control.
This handle can also be supplied fitted to joystick controller models JC150, JC1500, JC6000 and JC8000
HE
The new 'HE' handle/grip has been ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in either hand – eliminating the need for separate left- and right-hand mouldings – and its main body is moulded as a single component to improve rigidity and strength.
This handle can incorporate as many as fifteen functions including three analog controllers (rollers) in the front face and a 'Person Present' trigger switch to the grip. It is available with a choice of three different switch types as standard and six different colours. All switches are environmentally-sealed to IP66 and the handle’s flow-in/flow-out design ensures there are no negative effects from water ingress.
